PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric oscillator outputting a predetermined frequency signal stably by controlling conduction of heat generated from an integrated circuit element to a piezoelectric oscillation element. SOLUTION: A first package body where a piezoelectric oscillation element mounted in a first space section is connected electrically with an electrode terminal for connecting a second package body, and a second package body where a piezoelectric oscillation element arranged in a second space section is connected electrically with an electrode terminal for connecting a first package body, are integrated by conduction bonding the first package body connection terminal and the second package body connection terminal to produce a piezoelectric oscillator. An annular first metal layer is formed on the other major surface of the first package body, a second metal layer is formed oppositely to the first metal layer on the other major surface of the second package body, and a third space is formed by the bonding material of the first and second metal layers where the interior of the third space section is vacuum.
