PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motion guide device capable of preventing the occurrence of a flaking phenomenon in the motion guide device wherein curved segment rails are jointed. SOLUTION: A position displacement preventing mechanism 14 comprising an abutting pin 15 to which a side surface of an end of a pair of the segment rails having a joint 13 therebetween is abutted, and a pair of adjustment screws 16 for pushing an opposite side surface of the end of the pair of the segment rails 3c toward the abutting pin 15 is provided in the joint 13 of the pair of the segment rails 3c. The pair of the position adjustment screws 16 pushes the segment rail 3c on the joint side compared to a bolt insertion hole 6 for mounting the segment rail 3c to a base surface. The position displacement prevention mechanism 14 prevents displacement of the end of the pair of the segment rails 3c when a movement block 8 moves over the joint 13. Thus, the flaking phenomenon caused by passing of the movement block 8 over the joint 13 can be eased. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
