PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for films from which each film can be taken out with satisfactory operability, and which prevents such a trouble that a plurality of the films are peeled off all at once. SOLUTION: The container for the films is equipped with a container body 2 accommodating a stack of the films 1, a lid 3 connected to the container body so as to be freely rotated, thereby opening or closing the container body. The container for the films is also equipped with an elastic member 6 disposed on the lid, having a pressure-sensitive adhesive part 4 which can stick to the film materials, and capable of springing so that the pressure-sensitive adhesive part is brought into contact with the uppermost film material. The container for the films is further equipped with a pressing member 6 brought into contact with the stack of the films from above and pressing the films by a frictional force.
