PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent jamming and defect from occurring by reducing the occurrence of noise at an inversion part. SOLUTION: A main CPU controls a reversal conveying speed by a pair of reversal rollers 29 to a lower one when a low noise mode is set, and as necessary, controls a reversal conveying speed by a pair of ADU reversal rollers 30 to a lower one. The main CPU controls paper at an optimum reversal position when the conveying speed of a fixing device 24, the reversal rollers, or the ADU reversal rollers is changed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
