PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mammographic apparatus which can achieve high concentricity and perform synchronous rotation with high accuracy and easiness while being capable of implementing both operations of rotating an X-ray tube and an X-ray detector in a synchronous fashion and of rotating the X-ray tube with the X-ray detector placed at rest. SOLUTION: A frame 21 is mounted onto a stand unit 1 rotatably around a rotation axis RA and supports an X-ray tube device 23 equipped with the built-in X-ray tube therein. A frame 22 is mounted onto the stand unit 1 rotatably around the rotation axis RA independently of the frame 21 and supports a detection part 28 equipped with the built-in X-ray detector therein. A motor 12, gears 13, 14, an arc gear 22a, a spur gear 25, a motor 26 and a decelerator 27 selectively form a first mode to rotate the frame 22 by rotational force generated by rotation of the frame 21 and a second mode to rotate the frame 21 independently of the frame 22.
