PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a step-by-step water drainage automatic valve system which eliminates a complicated adjusting work on the site, and surely is switched from an initial water drainage to a regulated pressure water drainage after the passage of a specified period of time. SOLUTION: This automatic valve 100 is equipped with a main valve 6, a piston 16, a spring 14 which closes the main valve 6, and a shaft 26 and an adjuster 23. In this case, the piston 16 opens the main valve 6 by the feeding of primary side pressurized water to an actuating chamber 5b in a cylinder 5. The shaft 26 and the adjuster 23 drain the pressurized water in the actuating chamber 5b when the main valve 6 has reached an initial opening degree, and maintain the opening degree of the main valve 6. Also, the automatic valve 100 is equipped with a starting valve 300, a timer valve 200, and a pressure adjusting pilot valve 400. In this case, the starting valve 300 feeds the primary side pressurized water to the actuating chamber 5b and the timer valve 200. The timer valve 200 stops the water drainage of the pressurized water from inside of the actuating chamber 5b after a specified delaying period of time has passed since the feeding of the primary side pressurized water, and further opens the main valve 6. The pressure adjusting pilot valve 400 drains the pressurized water in the actuating chamber 5b when a pressure generated in a secondary side flow passage 3 has reached a specified pressure, and maintains the main valve 6 at a set opening degree.
