PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting a gene, etc., to obtain a base for judging a hereditary risk on obesity. SOLUTION: The invention relates to the detection of 147 of gene pleomorphism on 124 gene candidates on obesity and controls of 3906 Japanese, by using a PCR, sequence specific oligonucleotide probe and a suspension array technology (SAT). The risk on obesity can be detected by a combination of age with one or more gene pleomorphism such as 240th position A→T of the ACE gene, 30th position G→A of the GCK gene, 1989th position T→G of the ESR1 gene, 482nd position C→T of the APOC3 gene, 3931st position G→A of the IRS1 gene, 129th position C→T of the GCLC gene, 1165th position G→C of the ADRB1 gene, 46th position C→T of the F12 gene, and 205th position T→C of the STX1A gene, as the evaluating factors.
