In a method for separating an at least two compound crude gas by a temperature swing adsorption (TSA) process , where at least one stage involves adsorption and regeneration and the cycle times for the individual stages are determined by a theoretical load value of the crude gas, the cycle time of at least one process stage is increased if the load value falls below the theoretical figure.
