<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently cool a battery while operation sound of a blast fan is masked with a noise independent of the kind or sound insulation of the vehicle to be loaded. <P>SOLUTION: The power supply device for the vehicle controls electric power supplied to the blast fan 5 cooling a battery of a battery unit 1 by duty turning on and off a switching element 9 with a control circuit 2. The control circuit 2 is connected to a temperature detecting circuit 4 for detecting the battery temperature of the battery unit 1 and increases electric power supplied to the blast fan 5 when the battery temperature becomes high. In addition, the control circuit 2 is connected to an acoustic level detecting circuit 15 for detecting the acoustic level of either one or both of interior noise and the output of a speaker 18 to be loaded on the vehicle. The control circuit 2 changes the duty turning on and off the switching element 9 by using both of the battery temperature and the acoustic level as a variable, and when the battery temperature becomes high, or the acoustic level becomes high, the control circuit 2 controls so as to increase electric power supplied to the blast fan 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
