<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timer reservation device which easily makes an accurate reservation even when a user memorizes only part of information needed for the timer reservation. <P>SOLUTION: When one of a date of the start of videorecording, videorecording start time, videorecording end time, and a channel is input on a setting picture for timer reservation for videorecording, a CPU searches for EPG data stored in an EPG acquisition device and displays a program table corresponding to the input on the setting picture for timer reservation. When second and succeeding ones of the date of the start of videorecording, videorecording start time, videorecording end time, and channel, are input, the CPU searches for the EPG data stored in the EPG acquisition device and displays a program table corresponding to the items input so far on the setting picture for timer reservation. When a desired program to be reserved for videorecording is found in the displayed program table, the program is selected, so that the vieorecording reservation for the program is completed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
