<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag improved in occupant restraint performance, in regard to an airbag to be inflated for expansion toward a position near the head of an occupant. <P>SOLUTION: The airbag 11 to be inflated for expansion toward a position near the head 2A of the occupant 2 has a first bag 35, to which the pressure fluid is supplied from an inflater 13 first, and a second bag 36, to which the pressure fluid is supplied through the first bag 35.
