<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an "on-vehicle radar system" capable of detecting precisely other vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle type identifying part 22 of an image monitoring part 2 identifies a type of the other vehicle under tracking, based on an image photographed by a camera 21. A filter characteristic control part 33 of an other vehicle identifying part 3 sets a filter characteristic in response to the identified vehicle type. A filter 31 filters a measured value measured by a radar positioning part 1, according to the set filter characteristic, and extracts only the measured value allowed as that of the other vehicle under the tracking, and a target object tracking part 32 tracks the other vehicle, using the measured value extracted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
