PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change over an operation state of a computer only when detecting movement of the computer. SOLUTION: This information processor has: a detection part detecting that acceleration in one direction continues for a prescribed time as lift operation; and a control part executing predetermined control according to the lift operation detected by the detection part. A lift operation detection method has: a detection step for detecting that the acceleration in the one direction continues for the prescribed time as the lift operation; and a control step for executing the predetermined control according to the lift operation detected by the detection step.
