PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate various postures of an object to be photographed by using optical flow. SOLUTION: This image processor 20 is provided with an image acquiring means 22 for acquiring image data, an optical flow calculating means 24 for calculating a transfer vector on the basis of the image data, a partial differentiation means 26 for partially differentiating the transfer vector calculated by the optical flow calculating means in a prescribed direction and calculating a partial derivative of the transfer vector, and a posture determination means 28 for determining the posture of a surface constituting the object to be photographed on the basis of the partial derivative calculated by the partial differentiation means.
