PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retrieval device, a retrieval program and a retrieval method for facilitating the retrieval of elements constituting shape data and the access to the retrieved elements. SOLUTION: A computer 100 is configured to input retrieval content constituted of at least one of commands, internal elements, element names, and free words or the arbitrary combination of them for retrieving elements configuring shape data input by the user, and to prepare a list 103 as the retrieval result of elements based on the retrieval content, and to highlight the elements pertinent to the elements of the shape data when the elements on the list 103 are selected.
