PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for treating vaporized fuel in an internal combustion engine, wherein the apparatus can more accurately control the flow rate of the mixture to be introduced into an intake pipe. SOLUTION: In the apparatus for treating vaporized fuel, the vaporized fuel in a fuel tank is temporarily adsorbed into adsorption material stored in a canister, and the vaporized fuel adsorbed in the adsorption material is discharged into the intake pipe of the internal combustion engine when the internal combustion engine is operating. In this case, air is flowed through a specified throttle by operating a pump, and the pressure differenceΔP0 between the portions before and after the throttle is detected (S202). Next, the air-fuel mixture including the vaporized fuel is discharged from the canister through a fuel tank, the canister, and the throttle, and the pressure differenceΔP1 between the portions before and after the throttle is detected (S205). Then, the ratio P of the pressure difference and also the concentration C of the vaporized fuel to be used in the flow rate control are calculated from the ratio P of the pressure difference (S209, S210). When the sloshing of the fuel has occurred during detecting the pressure differenceΔP1, the accuracy of the pressure differenceΔP1 may be lowered.
