PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording-paper-and-ink-sheet integrated type cassette with high usability, which can be prevented from being deformed by a load, by maintaining the rigidity of the ink cassette in printing, and a small-sized printer. SOLUTION: This recording paper-integrated type ink cassette 1 is mounted in the printer which performs printing by transferring ink, applied onto an ink sheet by a thermal head, onto recording paper. An upper case 10, which mainly forms a recording paper storage part, and a lower case, which is assembled with the upper case by fitting a claw and a hole together, so as to form an ink sheet storage part, are welded together near an ink-sheet feeding path subjected to a load.
