<p>The present invention provides a track apparatus for mounting to a vehicle in place of a driven wheel. The track apparatus includes a flexible track (20) and a drive wheel (2) for engaging with the track to drive the track and connectable to a driven axle of the vehicle. At least one end idler wheel (12) of the track apparatus has a pneumatic tyre (40) that functions both as a track tensioning mechanism and a suspension.</p> |
