A sheet-shaped gasket manufacturing method is provided to use a gasket even in a high temperature region and to disperse solid matter of latex in the mixed material uniformly. A sheet-shaped gasket manufacturing method produces a sheet-shaped gasket by molding a sheet forming composition consisting of base fiber except for asbestos, latex of HNBR(Hydrogenated Nitrile Rubber), a filler, and rubber chemicals. A solvent is additionally mixed during a sheet forming composition producing process. The sheet-shaped gasket is made by pouring the sheet forming composition into a gap between a heat roll and a cold roll, evaporating the solvent and curing the sheet forming composition with laminating the sheet forming composition at the side of the heat roll in the predetermined thickness, and then separating the cured material from the heat roll.
