<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely burn SOF in two-stage regeneration of DPF for trapping PM contained in exhaust. <P>SOLUTION: When a PM trapping amount is PM1 or larger, a temperature of the DPF is increased to be a first target regeneration temperature on a low-temperature side to burn and remove the SOF in the PM trapped by the DPF. Then, when the PM trapping amount is PM2 or larger, the temperature of the DPF is increased to be a second target regeneration temperature on a high-temperature side to burn and remove the soot in the PM trapped by the DPF. At this time, the first target regeneration temperature is changed along with the deterioration of a catalyst carried by the DPF. An actual SOF combustion temperature is detected, and a deterioration state of the catalyst is determined from the combustion temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
