<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct a system for estimating a location of a person in a space at a low cost by using an image photographed by a camera. <P>SOLUTION: The same person is photographed by two or more asynchronous cameras, and continuous adjacent frames photographed by a reference camera are selected, and a base camera and base frame photographed between the adjacent frames are selected, and the person region in each frame image is estimated, and the top of the head part of the person is estimated from each person region, and the three-dimensional top of the head position of the person is estimated by using the position information of each of the top of the head parts of the adjacent frames and the base frame. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
