<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation tomography apparatus (100) which performs real-time labeling of a tomogram in a variety of scanning methods of an X-ray CT apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The radiation tomography apparatus (100) radiates X-ray, collects projection data transmitted through a predetermined region of a subject, and performs image reconstruction for displaying a tomogram (Fig. 10). In addition, the radiation tomography apparatus has a labeling means for performing labeling processing of the reconstructed tomogram and for acquiring an image characteristic value for each labeled consecutive region (S12 and S14), a re-labeling means for performing re-labeling processing on the basis of the information of the consecutive regions labeled by the labeling means and for compiling the image characteristic value of each consecutive region (S16-S20), and an image reconstruction means for optimizing the image quality of the consecutive regions compiled by the re-labeling means (S24, S26).
