<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the steam-water separation performance of a steam-water separator by properly separating steam from water to reliably discharge the separated steam upward from an orifice and reliably enabling the separated water to descend through a down-comer space. <P>SOLUTION: The steam-water separator comprises a circular down-comer space 54 by installing a swirl vane 52 in a riser 51 and setting a down-comer barrel 53 outside the riser 51, and an orifice 56 and a bent 57 formed by installing a deck plate 55 at a prescribed space above the riser 51 and the down-comer barrel 53. The aperture ratio of a plurality of slits 58a, 58b, 58c, and 58d formed in the riser 51 is set in a range of 30 to 70%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
