PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic-resin composite roll having improved impact resistance, abrasion resistance, chemical resistance and corrosion resistance. SOLUTION: The ceramic-resin composite roll 1 includes a metal roll core 2, a substrate layer 3 formed on the outer peripheral surface of the metal roll 2 and a ceramic sprayed film 4 formed on the outer peripheral surface of the substrate layer 3. The ceramic sprayed film 4 includes a ceramic particle layer obtained by melting and binding adjacent ceramic particles 5 and a layer of a resin 6 packed into spaces among ceramic particles 5 from the surface of the ceramic particle layer to the surface of the substrate layer 3.
