PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device in which the number of steps can be reduced compared with a conventional one, with an enlarged area, and further, cores can be arranged three-dimensionally with uniformity. SOLUTION: A sheet-like optical device is composed of two or more cores and cladding which is arranged around the cores and has a smaller refractive index than the cores, and the cores and a part of the cladding are formed of a thermoplastic resin, and the two or more cores serve as light guides.
