PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of suppressing generation of false colors. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus is provided with a filter part arrayed with a plurality of color filters each of which transmits any one of light of a plurality of color components; a light-receiving part, arrayed with a plurality of light receiving elements for receiving light transmitted through respective color filters; a filter driving part for changing the positions of respective color filters with respect to an object; an image pickup control part for allowing the plurality of light-receiving elements to receive light of which color components are made different, before and after changing the positions of the color filters by the filter driving part from respective regions constituting the object; and an image generation part for generating an image, on the basis of the light receiving quantity of light of different color components received from respective regions constituting the object by the plurality of light-receiving elements.
