PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric oscillator with a piezoelectric oscillation element on the upper surface side of a substrate and an integrated circuit element on the lower surface side thereof which can be manufactured by a simple method not requiring a high precision mounter for mounting the integrated circuit element. SOLUTION: In the piezoelectric oscillator, a piezoelectric oscillator mounting a piezoelectric oscillation element in a space sealed hermetically with a lid and an integrated circuit element are connected mechanically and electrically. The integrated circuit element is bonded to an electrode pad for connecting the integrated circuit element formed on the other major surface of the substrate, and a positioning substrate is formed in the vicinity of two corners at least on the diagonal of the integrated circuit element on the other major surface of the substrate.
