PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens shape measuring instrument capable of measuring precisely an outer shape of a lens with a surface and a reverse face of spherical shape. SOLUTION: This lens shape measuring instrument 1 calculates inclinations with respect to an X-axis and a Y-axis of the lens 20 mounted on a mounting part 3, and corrects the lens 20 to be inclined with respect to the X-axis and the Y-axis in response to the calculated inclinations. The lens shape measuring instrument 1 scans the surface and the reverse face of the lens 20 after the correction, and measures the outer shape of a lens 20.
