PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve common use for a plurality of kinds of reagent containers with different capacities. SOLUTION: This adapter comprises a body member 2 which positions the reagent container 105 inside a recess part 101a so as to permit sorting of reagent by a sampling nozzle by being inserted into the recess part 101a of a reagent housing 101 with being fixed to outside of the reagent container 105, and a partition member 3b for partitioning the inner region of the body member 2 by being detachably fixed to the body member 2. The partition member 3b partitions a storage chamber S2 for storing the reagent container 107 of small capacity in the reagent housing 101 while positioning it so as to sort the reagent by the sampling nozzle in the inner region of the body member 2 with the body member 2 being inserted into the recess part 101a.
