PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely execute workpiece positioning while simplifying a structure of a workpiece positioning table and reducing table weight in a machine tool provided with the workpiece positioning table. SOLUTION: The machine tool 12 is provided with a main-spindle head unit 18, which is freely movable to a prescribed position in a 3D direction so as to freely forwardly rotatably support a main-spindle unit 16, and a table 10 for positioning a workpiece 22 by knock pins 62, 64. The knock pins 62, 64 are provided to the table 10 so as to be freely pivotably movable via an external pivoting part 68 and an internal pivoting part 70. The knock pins are pivotably moved to a position where the workpiece 22 is positioned into a prescribed posture by a moving tool 44 freely attachably/detachably provided to a main spindle 46 of the main-spindle unit 16.
