PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cooling grid equipment for a continuous casting machine where the supporting area of a slab is sufficiently secured, and simultaneously, cooling capacity for a slab is improved. SOLUTION: In the cooling grid equipment 6 for a continuous casting machine installed directly below a mold in a continuous casting machine, wear plates 14 in which the contact length (L)in the slab width direction with a slab per wafer plate is≤40 mm are arranged in such a manner that the length of a gap between the wear plates adjoining to the casting direction is higher than the length of a gap between the wear plates adjoining in the slab width direction, and also, each oval type spray nozzle 15 is installed in the gap between the wear plates.
