PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for designing the shape of dishes into a shape being hardly fractured by an impact applied to an edge part and to provide the tableware having an impact-fracture resistant shape obtained thereby. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of the dishes having impact-fracture resistant shape includes to apply the impact to and fracture the edge part of the dishes made of a fragile material, draw an equation y=D/x (in the equation, D is an optional number), which consists of two axes of (x) and (y) on the cross sectional shape of the tableware before the fracture, in a planar orthogonal coordinate system based on a surface A approximating to a neutral face based on a defected portion of the fracture edge part of the dishes and a fracture face B fractured by a bending stress in the perpendicular direction to the circumference, form a cross sectional shape formed by cutting off the crossing dishes surface part, and provide the impact-fracture resistant shape having the thin wall part in the dishes inner circumferential part approximately in parallel to the upper edge end of the dishes.
