<p>A plasma display apparatus is provided to enhance reliability of a driving circuit by implementing an IGBT having a diode for preventing a reverse current in a driving element. A plasma display apparatus includes first and second driving elements(1,2). The first driving element, which includes a first IGBT(Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor)(1a) and a first diode(1b), controls an illuminating current. The first IGBT controls a first current, which is flowed from a first main electrode to a second main electrode. The first diode flows a diode current, which is flowed in an opposite direction of the first current. The second driving element, which includes a second IGBT(2a) and a second diode(2b), controls a power recovering and charging current. The second IGBT controls a second current, which flows from a third main electrode to a fourth main electrode. The second diode prevents a diode current, which is flowed in an opposite direction of the second current.</p> |
