An apparatus and a method for supplying a path information application are provided to service path information without using a navigation system by utilizing a traffic tour information service through a broadcasting network. An apparatus for supplying a path information application includes a signal processing unit(410), a controller(420) and an output unit(430). The signal processing unit receives at least one kind of event information and a path information application including at least one kind of path information on the event information. The controller configures a guidance screen for supplying the path information application. The output unit outputs the guidance screen for supplying the path information application. The apparatus for supplying a path information application further includes a user interface unit(440) receiving a user input signal, which is used for receiving the path information application.
