<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer recording system which prevents private information from leaking by destroying a negative image of a transfer image remaining in an ink ribbon refuse after thermal transfer. <P>SOLUTION: This thermal transfer recording system uses a thermal transfer sheet with a dye layer formed on at least one of the surfaces of a base sheet and a thermal transfer image receiving sheet with a dye acceptance layer formed on at least one of the surfaces of the base sheet. Further, the system can transfer the dye contained in the dye layer to the dye acceptance layer by a heating means after superposing the dye layer over the acceptance layer. In this system, the means is installed which makes it impossible to substantially read the information of the negative image of the transfer image remaining in the dye layer after transfer, before taking up the thermal transfer sheet after heat-sensitive transfer or in the stage prior to discharging the thermal transfer sheet to the outside of the system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
