<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide concentration-type pasty food having long term stability at normal temperature and easiness of taking out from a container, quickly becoming even when diluting with liquid, eatable as it is after diluting, and cookable, if required. <P>SOLUTION: The concentration-type pasty food essentially contains highly viscous starch and soluble starch as a viscous imparting agent.
