<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce transfer memory and an image defect caused by the transfer memory without adding a preliminary electrifying member or a destaticizing member such as a light emitting diode. <P>SOLUTION: After an electrifying means 30 electrifies the surface of a photoreceptor 20 to primary electrification potential Vf higher than image forming potential V0 necessary to form an image, an exposure means 40 exposes a non-image area by laser power for controlling the surface potential so as to lower the surface potential to the image forming potential V0, and also exposes an image area by laser power for forming an image so as to form an electrostatic latent image on the photoreceptor 20. A transfer means 60 applies bias different from transfer bias in timing that a blank part between the last paper and next paper passes, and the electrifying means 30 is controlled to apply electrifying bias being output set in accordance with the potential change of the surface of the photoreceptor to which the bias different from the transfer bias is applied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
