摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a light source capable of maintaining brightness in good condition and reducing illumination intensity variation. <P>SOLUTION: This manufacturing method comprises a reflector installation process S1 for installing a reflector in a predetermined position, a light source lamp installation process S2 for installing a light source lamp in the inside of a concave in the reflector, a projection imaging process S3 for taking a picture of each projection in a set of electrodes and a first position adjustment process S4 for adjusting the position of a light source lamp or reflector based on a picture taken in the projection imaging process and minimizing an angle formed by a line connecting the tip of each projection in the set of electrodes and a central axis of each beam emitted from the light source within an angle range which does not shield the light emitted from the light source lamp and reflected via a reflector light reflection area when the central axis of an arc tube is slanted against the central axis of each beam emitted form the light source. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p>
