PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display screen supporting mechanism which allows an operation of adjusting an angle of a display screen to be easily performed without using a round shaft as a revolving shaft. SOLUTION: The display screen supporting mechanism 1 includes a liquid crystal display part supporting member 2 provided on the side of a liquid crystal display part 40, a pedestal-side supporting member 3 provided on the side of a pedestal 50, and a tabular supporting shaft 4. The liquid crystal display part supporting member 2 and the pedestal-side supporting member 3 have a sectorial hole part 2d and a rectangular hole part 3d, to which the tabular supporting shaft 4 is to be inserted, and projecting parts 2f and 3f which are pressed to faces facing each other of the liquid crystal display supporting member 2 and the pedestal-side supporting member 3 to generate friction resistance. The projecting parts 2f and 3f are pressed to the liquid crystal display part supporting member 2 or the pedestal-side supporting member 3 in such a state that both the liquid crystal display part supporting member 2 and the pedestal-side supporting member 3 are bent by elastic deformation, and the liquid crystal display part supporting member 2 can be turned within an angular range of the sectorial hole part 2d with the tabular supporting shaft 4 as a revolving shaft.
