PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce costs such as labor costs by mechanizing an electrode wiping operation and shortening working time for the electrode wiping operation. SOLUTION: In the take out electrode forming method, a wiped display material and an adhesive are not splattered on surroundings, and every time an electrode take out position is uniformly wiped, by placing a nonwoven fabric 13 on the electrode take out position of the transparent electrode side, pressing a rod 12 with a tip having a size nearly as large as that of the electrode take out position to the nonwoven fabric from above, and taking out the electrode by using a device for reciprocating slide motion of the nonwoven fabric. Further, the working time for the electrode wiping operation is reduced in comparison with a manual operation, and drastic cost reduction is achieved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
