PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing roll that has excellent durability in joint with a metal core and is made less likely to be dented even if left in a nipping state. SOLUTION: The fixing roll 61 has an elastic layer 612 formed around a cylindrical metal core 611. The elastic layer 612 is formed from a hard mass of additive reactive silicone rubber containing (A)polyorganosiloxan having two or more silicon atomic bond alkenyl groups in one molecule, and (B) organo hydrogen siloxane having two or more silicon atomic bond hydrogen atoms in one molecule. In the elastic layer 612, a hardness change in a heat aging test at 230°C×168 hours is±5°, a distortion rate in a compression permanent distortion test at 180°C×22 hours is 10% or less, and repulsive elastic modulus is 70% or more.
