PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image heating device that ensures high efficiency, high speed start up, and long lifetime by using a highly efficient heating system using electromagnetic waves and, accordingly, obtains high quality print images. SOLUTION: A first heat roller 41 and a second pressure roller 42 used in a pair incorporate heat generating bodies 41c and 42c respectively, which generate heat by absorbing electromagnetic waves. Electromagnetic waves from a single electromagnetic wave generating means 43 are irradiated to the pair of rollers for the application of heat and pressure, so that the pair of rollers are equally heated simultaneously.
