PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid storage container and a recorder which can demonstrate the function of an electrical component certainly by inhibiting leaking liquid from getting into contact with electrical components, such as an information storage medium with which the liquid storage container is equipped. SOLUTION: A protrusion 120 is formed in a liquid storage member 200 of the liquid storage container 1000. The protrusion 120 is located between a lid member 110 and the information storage medium 300, and it is parallel to at least one side of the information storage medium 300.
