MANUFACTURING METHOD OF PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL, DIELECTRIC PASTE FOR PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a PDP capable of further increasing a transmission factor of visible light by considering an application time of dielectric paste being a dielectric layer of a structure suppressing a reaction with a silver electrode; and to provide dielectric paste for a PDP. SOLUTION: This method is used for manufacturing a plasma display panel having a front plate composed by forming display electrodes 6 containing silver on a glass substrate, and by forming the dielectric layer 8 to cover the display electrodes 6. The dielectric layer is composed of a first dielectric layer 81 containing bismuth oxide and covering the display electrodes, and a second dielectric layer 82 covering the first dielectric layer; and at least the second dielectric layer 82 is composed by baking dielectric paste where the volume percentage of ethylcellulose being a resin to a dielectric glass material containing bismuth oxide is set to 11% to 20%.
