PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cancel eccentricity of a disk type recording medium with simple constitution. SOLUTION: In the rotation control device 2, when eccentricity quantity of the disk type recording medium 5 is detected by an eccentricity quantity detecting means 31, gain of a rotation drive means 20 canceling the eccentricity quantity and rotating the disk type recording medium 5 with constant linear velocity is specified by a gain specifying means 33a. Then, a drive signal of a drive control means 32 is adjusted by a gain adjusting means 34 based on the gain and is output to the rotation drive means 20. Then, eccentricity quantity of the disk type recording medium 5 is canceled and rotary driven with constant linear velocity by the rotation drive means 20. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
