PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infiltrating structure for improving an existing draining facility for eliminating rainwater into a sewer or the like, into an infiltrating facility for infiltrating rainwater into underground. SOLUTION: A through-hole 15 is formed in a bottom wall 11 of a catch basin 10. A steel pipe is driven into the ground through the through-hole 15, and sediment in the steel pipe is sucked out. A vinyl chloride pipe wound with a flood sheet 3 is inserted into the steel pipe, and crushed stone 2 is filled in the vinyl chloride pipe down to the position of the bottom wall 11 of the catch basin 10. Only the vinyl chloride pipe is pulled out of the steel pipe, and then the steel pipe is pulled out of the through hole 15. When the crushed stone 2 is sunk from the bottom wall 11 of a water collecting facility 10, an insufficient portion of crushed stone 2 is filled from the through hole 15, and the upper face of the crushed stone 2 is lightly compacted by rolling. The vinyl chloride pipe 5 is then erected upward in the water collecting facility 10 from the through hole 15. The length of the vinyl chloride pipe 5 is determined by treating the rainwater by a peak cut method or a base cut method, and a filter 6 is detachably installed at an upper opening part of the vinyl chloride pipe 5.
