PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that a user often feels uneasy in the operation, a light irregularity at a pushing pressure part and light leakage to the outside the pushing pressure part occur at a high frequency, a relatively large area is secured for the pushing pressure part necessarily, and it is impossible to emit a light at the center of a small-area pushing pressure part. SOLUTION: This rice cooker is provided with: a cooker body; a waterproof film formed on the body surface; the pushing pressure part having display characters formed on the waterproof film; an operation board having a switch positioned inside the body for inputting the operation of the cooker and having its surface covered with the waterproof film and a light emitting element indicating the operation or the operation state of the cooker; and an operation key transmitting the operation from the pushing pressure part to the switch and having a topped cylindrical and cylindrical top face positioned close to the pushing pressure part and formed of a transparent material. A colored cylindrical operation key guide is provided inside the operation key, and the light emitting element is disposed inside the operation key guide and immediately under the pushing pressure part.
