A display method, a display device, and an electronic apparatus are provided to display optimal images by detecting a variation in a panel driving current when temperature variation or brightness deterioration occurs. A display device includes a driving current detection unit(23), a brightness controller(25), a comparing unit(26), and a controller. The driving current detection unit detects a driving current of pixels. The brightness controller generates first and second brightness control signals for illuminating respective illuminating elements with first and second brightness, respectively, so as to display images. The comparing unit compares the detected driving current with a predetermined set value. The controller outputs one of the first and second brightness control signals based on the comparison.
