<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of removing discharge product without spoiling user's convenience, even when the adhesive force of the discharge product with respect to the photoreceptor drum is strong. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1 includes the photoreceptor drum 11, a developing device 12, a control part 8 and a cleaning blade 17. The photoreceptor drum 11 rotates during a predetermined period accompanying an image forming instruction. The developing device 12 has the developer containing abrasive inside, and supplies the developer to the photoreceptor drum and develops an electrostatic latent image formed on the photoreceptor drum 11. The control part 8 controls so that the developing device 12 supplies the developer, containing the abrasive to the photoreceptor drum 11 during a first period; except a period in which image forming following one image forming instruction is performed from among predetermined periods in which the photoreceptor drum 11 is rotating. The cleaning blade 17 slides in contact with the surface of the photoreceptor drum 11 and rubs and removes the developer supplied to the photoreceptor drum 11 during the first period. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
