<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AC-DC interconnected power conversion device to which a compensation function, which maintains and improves the quality of power supply in an AC power supply system as a whole, according to the equipment capacity of the AC-DC interconnected power conversion device, is added for control, in addition to a conventional power conversion transfer function by a sinusoidal current in the AC-DC interconnected power conversion device for transferring power between AC and DC circuits, by connecting the AC circuit to the DC one including an AC power supply. <P>SOLUTION: In the AC-DC interconnected power conversion device, PWM control is performed on an invertor so that an AC interconnected current agrees with an AC current reference waveform in synchronization with an AC voltage in a level, where the voltage of the DC circuit agrees with a fixed reference value. In this case, the AC-DC interconnected power conversion device includes a waveform control section.
